Lee,
So assuming that you already have 'locations' in Paper Tiger database named archives or reference, then transfer the items from your action location to the appropriate one you want to move each file to.

For the desktop version, please see this knowledge base article that gives instructions for conducting transfers: http://www.thepapertiger.com/support/articles.php?id=361224&catId=231. Also here is a video that has a short clip at the end showing transferring an item: http://www.thepapertiger.com/support/articles.php?id=255964&catId=231.

For the online version, see this knowledge base article for instructions to transfer: http://www.thepapertiger.com/support/articles.php?id=194216&catId=230.

I haven't been using the "Action Files" right. Most of the files there really should be either archived or referenced. What is your recommendation to "fix" my mess up?

Jill,
You are not alone! Most of us struggle with clutter, and hopefully articles of this type are helpful so that we can see what the problem is, and then what to do to make our lives better! Keep trying! thank you, Janet

I have read 5 different articles now about how negative a thing clutter is. I was hoping somewhere to find an article that indicated clutter was a sign of brilliance. Not only does my mess say that I'm emotionally unstable, it also indicates that I am self deceived... Bummer!

I agree, take time to check the things you have collected through the years and determine if you are still using them daily.

A great tip on having someone who will assist you can can give opinion even if it will hurt your feelings about the things you have hoarded.

For implementing GTD you can use this application:

Gtdagenda. com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, and a calendar.
Also comes with mobile version, and Android and iPhone apps.

Roberta, thank you for sharing your story. I am happy that you are doing well. I can't imagine what you went through. May God continually work in your healing.

I have been perusing Paper Tiger in the event I can share with my clients. I am really liking how this works. I will recommend this software to them.
